Giving Families' Good Mail Challenge for May 2016

This month's Challenge is to provide families in need with food.

Every second Saturday in May, letter carriers all over the country collect canned goods from their postal customers, and then deliver them to local food banks, pantries and shelters where it's available to families in need.

Help spread the word! Make sure all your neighbors know about this year's Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive on Saturday, May 14th.

Here's how you can help the people...

Print off your letters

TIP: While waiting, watch this :30 public service announcement! It's password protected, however the password is psa123:

Prepare your letters.

Cut along the dotted lines, and then write your name (or your family's name) on the solid line.

TIP: While you're at it, color this cute poster too, and then ask to hang it in a neighborhood restaurant or coffee shop.

Post your letters.

Sometime BEFORE May 14th, go door-to-door (with an adult), taping the reminder letter to your neighbors' front door or mailbox.

TIP 1: Don't have any neighbors? Drive to a nearby neighborhood...or email your friends & family instead!

TIP 2: Better yet, upload this photo as your Facebook cover photo, letting ALL your friends and family know how they can help Stamp Out Hunger:
